The Seattle Ki Society was founded in 1969 and is led by Head Instructor Susan Grigsby Sensei.

We are located at 5031 University Way NE in room 207 of the University Heights Community Center. We are convenient to the University District and just six blocks east of I-5. We offer instruction in both Ki-Aikido and Ki Development, with a variety of classes offered throughout the week for both children and adults.

This class will introduce basic aikido techniques, and the art of safe falling and rolling.

The course also covers basic principles of ki development:
Centering
Living relaxation
Focus and energy extension
Intro to breathing and meditation techniques

Completion of this course prepares the student to participate in any of Seattle Ki-Aikido's ongoing classes
(currently T/Th/Sat).

Candidates of all fitness levels welcome.
Pre-registration not required. Walk-ins welcome!
